           Shawnee State University เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐที่จัดตั้งขึ้นในปีค.ศ.1986 ทำให้เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยที่อายุน้อยที่สุดแห่งหนึ่งของรัฐโอไฮโอ มหาวิทยาลัยตั้งอยู่ริมฝั่งแม่น้ำโอไฮโอในเมืองพอร์ทสมัธ โดยทุนนี้มีการแข่งขันสูง นักเรียนที่มีภาษาแรกไม่ได้เป็นภาษาอังกฤษต้องแสดงความสามารถทางภาษาอังกฤษโดยการส่งคะแนนที่น่าพอใจจากการทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษ(TOEFL)

Shawnee Scholar Award: Full-tuition funding for four years.
Shawnee Achievement Award: ($5,750 per year/$23,000 for four years)
Shawnee Excellence Award: ($4,750 per year/$19,000 for four years)
Shawnee Success Award: ($3,750 per year/$15,000 for four years)
Blue & Gray Award: ($2,750 per year/$11,000 for four years)

-Citizens of all nationalities
-Shawnee Scholar Award: This highly competitive support will be awarded to 8 outstanding students. If you have an ACT score of 30 and higher or SAT (combined reading/math) score of 1320+ and a high school grade point average of at least 3.8/4.0 scale you will be considered for this prestigious award. Those in consideration will be asked to submit sample work.
-Shawnee Achievement Award: If you have an ACT score of 27 and higher or SAT (combined reading/math) score of 1210+ and a high school grade point average of at least 3.8/4.0 scale you will be considered for this award.
-Shawnee Excellence Award: If you have an ACT score of 25 and higher or SAT (combined reading/math) score of 1130+ and a high school grade point average of at least 3.6/4.0 scale you will be considered for this award.
-Shawnee Success Award: If you have an ACT score of 23 and higher or SAT (combined reading/math) score of 1060+ and a high school grade point average of at least 3.4/4.0 scale you will be considered for this award.
-Blue & Gray Award: If you have an ACT score of 21 and higher or SAT (combined reading/math) score of 980+ and a high school grade point average of at least 3.2/4.0 scale you will be considered for this award.
-English Language Requirements: Applicants must have excellent written and verbal English skills.
