Wellcome Trust องค์กรการกุศลด้านการวิจัยชีวการแพทย์ที่ตั้งอยู่ในกรุงลอนดอน กำลังเปิดรับนักวิจัยจากชาติที่มีรายได้รับดับปานกลาง(รวมทั้งไทย)สมัครชิงทุนด้าน สาธารณสุขและเวชศาสตร์เขตร้อน หรือ Public Health and Tropical Medicineโดยทำการวิจัยอิสระในประเทศของผู้สมัคร
             Wellcome Trust กำลังเปิดรับสมัครเพื่อรับสมัครชิงทุนMid-Career Fellowships for Low and Middle Income Countries, 2020เป็นทุนวิจัยสำหรับต่างชาติเพื่อจัดตั้ง Independent Research programmes ในประเทศของตนโดยโครงการนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสนับสนุนการวิจัยที่จะปรับปรุงสุขภาพของประชาชนและเวชศาสตร์เขตร้อนในระดับท้องถิ่น ระดับชาติ และระดับโลก
           คุณสมบัติของผู้สมัครขอทุน
-จบPhD.ทางแพทย์จากชาติที่มีรายได้ต่ำหรือปานกลาง
-มีประสบการณ์การทำงานหลังจบแพทย์ 6 ปี
-หากไม่ได้จบPhD.ก็ยังอาจได้รับพิจารณา หากจบปริญญาแรกและปริญญาโท พร้อมกับมีประสบการณ์ด้านการวิจัยที่สำคัญ
