ออสเตรเลียเปิดตัวเว็บไซต์การศึกษาโฉมใหม่ที่ง่ายต่อการค้นคว้าข้อมูลผ่านทางสมาร์ทโฟนและคอมพิวเตอร์พกพา นักเรียนไทยที่สนใจศึกษาต่อในออสเตรเลีย สามารถค้นหาคอร์สการเรียนการสอน และสถาบันการศึกษาในสาขาต่างๆในประเทศออสเตรเลียได้แล้วที่ www.studyinaustralia.gov.auโดยสามารถเลือกอ่านในภาคภาษาไทยได้โดยสะดวก
 
ผู้เข้าเยี่ยมชมเว็บไซต์ สามารถโต้ตอบผ่านทางโซเชียลมีเดีย และอ่านข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับทุนการศึกษา รวมทั้งเรื่องเล่าจากนักเรียนและนักศึกษาชาวไทยและชาวต่างชาติซึ่งศึกษาอยู่ในประเทศออสเตรเลีย
 
เว็บไซต์รูปลักษณ์ใหม่พัฒนาขึ้นจากเว็บไซต์เดิมให้สามารถสืบค้นข้อมูลได้ง่ายขึ้น และผู้ที่ใช้งานสามารถลงทะเบียนเพื่อเลือกเก็บเฉพาะข้อมูลที่ตนสนใจ นอกจากนี้ ยังให้ข้อมูลของแต่ละรัฐและเขตการปกครองในออสเตรเลียโดยละเอียด พร้อมด้วยข่าวสาร ทันสมัยและกิจกรรมที่จะจัดขึ้นในแต่ละประเทศทั่วโลก รวมทั้งประเทศไทย
 
นายเจมส์ ไวส์ เอกอัครราชทูตออสเตรเลียประจำประเทศไทย กล่าวว่า เว็บไซต์ Study in Australia เป็นแหล่งข้อมูลการศึกษาในออสเตรเลียอย่างเป็นทางการ และครอบคลุมประเด็นสำคัญที่นักเรียนและผู้ปกครองควรทราบ มีความทันต่อเหตุการณ์ และเชื่อมโยงไปยังเว็บไซต์ของสถาบันการศึกษาต่างๆ และข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับการใช้ชีวิตในออสเตรเลียอีกด้วย
 
“การศึกษาของออสเตรเลียเปิดโอกาสอันหลากหลายให้แก่ผู้ที่สำเร็จการศึกษา ประสบการณ์และความรู้ที่ได้ยังช่วยส่งเสริมให้ชีวิตส่วนตัวและชีวิตการทำงานสมบูรณ์แบบยิ่งขึ้น” เอกอัครราชทูตออสเตรเลียกล่าว

“เว็บไซต์รูปโฉมใหม่เปิดให้บริการแล้วในเดือนมิถุนายนนี้ และอยู่ภายใต้การดูแลของสำนักงานการพาณิชย์ (ออสเทรด) ซึ่งเป็นหน่วยงานของรัฐบาลออสเตรเลียที่มีหน้าที่ส่งเสริมการค้า การลงทุนและการศึกษาของออสเตรเลีย”
 
หลังการเปิดตัว เว็บไซต์จะมีฟังก์ชั่นต่างๆเพิ่มขึ้น เช่น ฟังก์ชั่นที่นักเรียนสามารถสร้างแฟ้มส่วนตัวและเลือกข้อมูลใส่แฟ้มตามที่ตนสนใจ
 
เอกอัครราชทูตออสเตรเลียกล่าวว่าออสเตรเลียเปิดรับนักเรียนนักศึกษาต่างชาติจากทั่วทุกมุมโลกมาเป็นเวลายาวนาน  “นักเรียนไทยที่เลือกเรียนในออสเตรเลีย มีทางเลือกมากมาย ทั้งการเรียนระดับมหาวิทยาลัย สถาบันฝึกอบรมวิชาชีพ โรงเรียนและการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษ”

Australian education goes mobile with new official website

 
Thai students can research and plan their Australian education via mobile phone and tablet on the new Study in Australia website, www.studyinaustralia.gov.au, the official source of information on studying in Australia.
 
A mobile-friendly design makes it easy for students to browse courses and institutions on any handheld or desktop device, wherever they may be in the world.
 
Potential students can also interact via social media, access information about scholarships and read or watch the stories of other students from Thailand or elsewhere.
 
The new site updates and improves the previous Study in Australia website, featuring an enhanced search function and a log-in that allows users to bookmark information and favourites.
 
It also includes detailed information about Australia’s states and territories and updated content including news and event feeds, all in a selection of languages.
 
H.E. Mr James Wise, Australian Ambassador to Thailand, said the Study in Australia site was a reliable, comprehensive source of up-to-date information, with links to other education providers as well as details about living in Australia.
 
“An Australian education opens huge opportunities for graduates, enriching their personal and professional lives,” Ambassador Wise said.
 
“Australia has a fantastic range of internationally recognised institutions offering high quality courses across the education spectrum.”
 
“Now Thai students can learn about them quickly and easily in a format that suits their lifestyle.”  The new site, produced and maintained by Austrade, the Australian Government’s trade, investment and education promotion agency, goes live this month.
 
In the coming months, additional functions will be added, including a personalised study guide.
The site is a practical, friendly and engaging resource for existing and prospective students, based on testing and research.
 
It is also designed to more effectively refer students to the websites of relevant institutions.
Ambassador Wise said Australia has a long history of welcoming international students from all parts of the world.
 
“Thai students have plenty of choices: they can study at university, learn English, attend a Vocational Education and Training (VET) college or go to school.”
