The International Max Planck Research School on Adapting Behavior in a Fundamentally Uncertain World (IMPRS Uncertainty) invites application for doctoral fellowships in law, psychology and economics. The international applicants are eligible to apply for the fellowship. The fellowship provides amount  for maximally three years to cover their living expenses. Applications should be submitted online till April 1, 2013.
Study Subject(s): The fellowship is offered to study doctoral program in law, psychology and economics disciplines.
Course Level: The fellowship is available for pursuing doctoral program.

Eligibility:
-Candidates may apply if they have (or will have) a master’s degree.
-State exam with honors or equivalent in the following, with a fully satisfactory final score: Economics and Business Administration, Law and Psychology, especially social and cognitive Psychology or related disciplines.

Scholarship Description: The International Max Planck Research School on Adapting Behavior in a Fundamentally Uncertain World (IMPRS Uncertainty) invites outstanding candidates to apply for doctoral fellowships in Law, Economics, and Psychology. The IMPRS Uncertainty combines approaches from Economics, Law and Psychology to explain human decisions under uncertainty more effectively and to better design institutional responses. The Uncertainty School is jointly hosted by the Max Planck Institutes for Research on Collective Goods in Bonn, of Economics in Jena, for Human Development in Berlin, and the Institute of Psychology and the School of Economics and Business Administration of the Friedrich Schiller University Jena, and the University of Bonn, Institute of Commercial and Economic Law. International Partners are the Program in Cognitive Science and the Workshop in Political Theory and Policy Analysis at Indiana University, Bloomington, the Interdepartmental Centre for Research Training in Economics and Management (CIFREM) at the University of Trento, and the Center for Rationality at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. The Curriculum of the IMPRS Uncertainty has three pillars:  a four-week summer school, an annual Thesis and Topics Workshop, and local training.
Duration of award(s): The fellowship is offered for a maximum period of three years.
What does it cover? Students admitted to the IMPRS will receive a monthly scholarship of 1,365 EUR for maximally three years to cover their living expenses. The stipend is tax-free. Additional payments for accompanying spouses or children might be possible under certain prerequisites.
