The Istanbul Sehir University, Turkey, is offering scholarships for international students to pursue undergraduate program. Full and partial scholarships are available for 5 years (1 year of English Preparatory Program plus 4 years of undergraduate study). The application will be submitted online till August 23, 2013.

Eligibility: The applications of:

-Students who are either high school graduates or are studying their last year in high school,

-Students with dual nationality who abandoned their Turkish or Turkish Republic of North Cyprus (TRNC) citizenship and who complete their entire high school education abroad

-Citizens of TRNC who have completed their entire high school in TRNC and have GCE A/L result will be accepted.

Scholarship Open for International Students: The International students can apply for this scholarship.

Scholarship Description: In the 2013-2014 academic year, all international students will be admitted to the undergraduate programs on full or partial scholarships, provided with free laptop computers and health insurance. These scholarships are valid for 5 years duration (1 year of English Preparatory Program plus 4 years of undergraduate study). Scholarships are awarded based on academic and social merit as well as financial need.

Duration of award(s): These scholarships are valid for 5 years duration (1 year of English Preparatory Program plus 4 years of undergraduate study).

What does it cover? Full Scholarships: The following resources are provided to students enrolled in the full scholarship programs, to be valid every semester for which they are registered:

-Total offer is Full tuition waiver

-9 months free dining

-500 TL course material support for each of two semesters.

-9 months free accommodation in rooms for 4 persons at the Guesthouse.

-Monthly stipends for 9 months.

Partial Scholarships: This is a scholarship type which provides students with partial exemption from tuition fees (25%, 50%, 75% tuition discounts), dormitory fees, health care and / or other expenses incurred during your studies.

Selection Criteria: Scholarships are awarded based on academic and social merit as well as financial need.

How to Apply: The mode of applying is online. Application fee is automatically waived for international students.

Scholarship Application Deadline: The application deadline is August 23, 2013. Applications received after the deadline will not be processed.
