Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences at the University of Tokyo is inviting applications for Shoda Memorial international scholarship for Asian students who are enrolled or will be enrolled in the first year of the master’s course or in the second year of the doctoral course. The scholarship provides 70,000 Yen per month for up to two years. Students can apply till March 13, 2013.
Study Subject(s): The scholarship is provided to study courses offered by the graduate school of agricultural and life sciences.
Course Level: This scholarship is open for those students who are enrolled or will be enrolled in the first year of the master’s course or in the second year of the doctoral course.

Eligibility: -Students should be self supporting and are from Asian Countries. They should be enrolled or will be enrolled in the first year of the master’s course or in the second year of the doctoral course as of April 2013, and whose major is science related.
-Applicants must be Living in Tokyo.
-With good conduct, high scholastic abilities, in good health.
-Students should not receiving other scholarships.
-Application form will be in Japanese so applicants should be able to fill out application forms in Japanese.

Scholarship Description: Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences at the University of Tokyo is offering scholarships for 2013/2014 academic year.
Duration of award(s): Scholarship is granted for a period ranging from April 2013 – March 2015 (Two years).
What does it cover? Scholarship amount per month is 70,000 Yen.
How to Apply: To apply, submit Form 3 (Application Form for Scholarships by Private Foundation) directly to the International Student Section.
A student nominated by the graduate school will receive information from the International Student Section. They should then submit the Academic record certificate (of the present and previous course enrolled), Application Form for Scholarships from Private Foundations and Recommendation letter from the supervising professor. Students will not be considered eligible before the registration their information.
Scholarship Application Deadline: Apply to the International Student Section by March 13, 2013.
